TechTable by Vention: After a flavourful 2024, here’s to what’s next
We couldn’t have been prouder… or fuller! Every edition of TechTable, Vention’s exclusive networking and fine dining event, was a resounding success throughout 2024!
Last spring, we kicked off the year in style at Galvin La Chapelle, a Michelin-starred French gem in Spitalfields. With exquisite dishes on the table, Vention’s UK CTO, Glyn Roberts, led a lively discussion on generative AI and the future of platform development.
From AI-powered automation to accelerating development tasks, the conversation was as rich as the menu. And the burning question of the evening? “When will LLMs replace developers?” You had to be there to find out!
As autumn rolled in, we elevated the experience — literally. High above London at the Sky Garden’s Fenchurch Restaurant, Dr. Zoe Webster led an engaging conversation on AI’s growing impact on the workforce. From bold forecasts to practical insights, the discussions kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
To wrap up the year, attendees gathered at City Social, where modern British cuisine set the stage for a spirited discussion. Guest speaker Christian Hull posed a hotly debated question: “Should digital transformation be led by the business, not technology?” The lively exchange was the perfect way to end the year.
With 2024 now behind us, we’re already looking ahead to 2025. Bigger TechTable events, exciting new topics, and mouthwatering surprises are on the menu for the coming year.
