NEW YORK, April 7, 2026 — Vention, a leading global provider of software engineering and AI services, today published its whitepaper, "AI workshops: Where regional strategy becomes executive action." Drawing on insights from more than 480 senior technology leaders across the US, UK, and DACH region, the report examines how organizations in these markets are using AI workshops to move from strategy to execution. The whitepaper also highlights why motivations, expectations, and outcomes differ significantly depending on where a company operates.

The second installment in Vention's ongoing research series builds on its first report, which revealed how regional mindsets shape AI adoption across the US, UK, and DACH. This new report goes deeper, exploring how leadership teams are preparing to act on their AI ambitions and the increasingly central role that structured AI workshops play in that process.

Key findings

  • Three regional workshop motivations: US leaders use workshops to pressure-test ideas and validate complex initiatives before committing resources. UK leaders rely on them to build momentum and convert AI interest into a clear project direction. DACH leaders treat them as controlled environments for technical validation and investment de-risking.
  • Identifying high-impact use cases is the top priority across all three markets: However, regional priorities diverge from there, with US teams focused on product integration, UK teams on use case discovery, and DACH teams on deep technical and security validation.
  • Workshops build trust as much as clarity: 40% of US leaders, 34% in the UK, and 32% in DACH say the presence of AI workshops makes a vendor stand out, signaling that workshops act as an early preview of the working relationship, not just a one-off service.
  • The gap between AI ambition and execution is closing: Organizations that enter workshops with clear questions leave with validated use cases, defined architectural direction, and a concrete roadmap for moving forward.

The whitepaper also details what distinguishes a high-value AI workshop from a generic session — and how Vention's hands-on workshop model is designed to deliver concrete outcomes aligned with each organization's goals, risk posture, and regional context.
