The In:Vention Incubator is open for applications!

To the startups striving to bring their product to fruition, we want to help! The In:Vention Incubator welcomes startups across industries to apply for a chance to secure free custom software development services valued at $150K USD, along with the support and expertise of our engineers and network of tech partners. Entries close on Friday, June 28, at 5:00 PM ET.

Service offering: The In:Vention Incubator is a three-month program offering startups access to custom software development services, advisory and skills development, and Vention’s network of tech partners.

Service value: The incubator offers engineering services and team support worth $150K USD in in-house software development.

Criteria for participation: Founders that are interested in participating in the In:Vention Incubator must have a registered business and meet the following technology criteria:

  • Readiness: The product is past the ideation stage, either developed or at the prototype.
  • Innovation: Technology is novel and/or addresses an existing market need.
  • Intellectual property: Your idea can be protected against competing technologies.

How do I apply?

Fill out the form with as much detail as possible for your submitted project. Required information includes: 

  • Background details
  • Company profile
  • Market and technology
  • Finances
  • Program expectations  

When do submissions open and close?

Submissions open on May 16 and close on June 28 at 5:00 pm ET. 

Who is eligible to enter the In:Vention Incubator?

  • The contest is open to all companies with a working minimum viable product (MVP) and a business plan. Companies must be incorporated and comply with local business regulations. Please note that concept-only ideas are not sufficient for entry.
  • To ensure integrity and fairness, Vention employees and their family members are not eligible to participate.

Can I apply more than once?

Participants, including companies, can only apply once. This rule ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to win. Additional entries will be disqualified.

How many winners will be selected?

  • There will be up to three company winners selected for the 2024 In:Vention Incubator. This ensures that our support translates into significant and tangible advancements for the winner(s), fostering groundbreaking developments.
  • Vention holds the sole discretion to select the winner.

How will the winner be selected?

The winner(s) of the In:Vention Incubator will be chosen based on the best compatibility of their submitted solutions with our services to ensure maximum potential for success. Our evaluation process focuses on identifying projects that align seamlessly with our resources and expertise, allowing our team to effectively support and accelerate the winner’s growth.

When will participants be notified of their winning status?

Participants will be informed of their winning status in mid-July. Please keep an eye on your email, our social channels, and our official landing page for updates.

What is the post-competition process?

Once the In:Vention Incubator decision is announced, we’ll be your partner every step of the way to ensure peace of mind with the solutions we deliver. The winner can expect:

  • Making contact: An account manager will schedule a discovery call to align on expectations and next steps.
  • Vetting process: Your dedicated account manager will handpick the best one to three engineers for your project over three months and work with you to customize your project timeline.
  • Project launch: We’ll begin kicking off your project as soon as our team is aligned with your vision, bringing your solutions to new heights — the Vention way.

When can I start services upon winning?

Services can begin as early as August 1, following a discovery and engineer vetting process once the winner is announced in mid-July.
