Vention appoints Mikhail Linnik as Vice President of Software Engineering

New York, NY, April 1, 2025 Vention, a global provider of custom software development services, has appointed Mikhail Linnik as its first Vice President of Software Engineering, reinforcing the company’s commitment to scalable, high-performing delivery and operational excellence. 

In this newly created role, Mikhail will lead the evolution of Vention’s global delivery organization, which spans more than 10 international engineering hubs. He will drive cross-border collaboration, deepen technical and domain specialization, and scale delivery capabilities to meet the complex, fast-changing needs of enterprise and growth-stage clients.

Since joining Vention in 2014, Mikhail has held senior roles including overseeing of multiple business units and leading the Bulgaria office, one of Vention’s largest and most strategically important hubs. His appointment marks a key step in the company’s strategy to build a unified, future-ready delivery model that scales with client needs.

Prior to joining Vention, Mikhail held senior positions at leading technology firms, where he scaled engineering teams and led complex initiatives across technical, operational, and financial domains. He began his career as a C++ and Java engineer before moving into leadership roles spanning software delivery, client success, and organizational transformation.
