Yet only 5 percent say they fully understand GenAI, while 54 percent cite privacy and trust as the biggest obstacles to adoption.

How teams measure success has also matured. In a 2025 HubSpot survey of 1,500 marketers, the most common ROI markers were increased productivity (65%), time savings (58%), better role performance (43%), and improved personalization (39%).

And the impact is clear in content production. According to Ahrefs’ 2025 State of AI in Content Marketing, companies using AI publish 47 percent more content each month and, on average, grow 5% faster than those that don’t.
