SVRF aimed to empower 3D artists to create AR/VR content while enabling third-party developers and users to seamlessly share and leverage these creations, including for virtual commerce.

The business vision centered on allowing users to upload VR objects, streamline AR content creation, and integrate advanced AR/VR features into their platforms. To bring this vision to life, SVRF partnered with us for our AR expertise and VR capabilities, resulting in robust solutions such as VR content integrations, a public API, an iOS SDK, and a Unity plugin to simplify AR/VR model integration.

Portal for uploading and managing collections: A user-friendly portal where 3D artists can easily upload new objects, organize their collections, and use filters to find exactly what they need.
GLTF-pipeline server: A server that optimizes models and generates preview images during uploads, saving time and ensuring everything looks its best.
GLTF format extensions: The GLTF format has been enhanced with new functionality, including the use of video as a texture for richer, more dynamic creations.
MacOS server and iOS client: Real-time tools that let artists "try on" face masks as they design them, making the creative process faster, smoother, and more fun.

Solutions for third-party developers:

Public API and developer portal: A public API for searching and downloading AR/VR content, paired with a developer-focused landing page to streamline onboarding.
Auto-generated API documentation: A website with API documentation automatically generated using Swagger for clarity and ease of use.
Language-specific libraries: Libraries for working with APIs in popular programming languages. Initially auto-generated using Swagger, several were manually refined to enhance code quality.
iOS SDK: A robust iOS SDK offering the same functionality as the libraries for other languages, along with simplified ARKit integration for seamless AR experiences.
Unity plugin: A Unity plugin that effortlessly loads 3D objects directly from the SVRF API and integrates them into game scenes.
