Project description
With plans to ramp up customer acquisition and better serve their 400+ big-league clients — Canon, Twitter, and Volkswagen among them — Merkle had outgrown the capabilities of established software solutions. Given our rich martech expertise, the company first engaged us in 2011 to extend their digital offerings.
In the decade-plus since, Vention has built a wide range of projects for Merkle’s multiple end clients. From .NET-based enterprise platforms to native mobile apps and API management, Vention has brought increased ROI and conversion rates to each engagement.
Our team also implemented a new agile development approach that enabled Merkle to respond better to uncertainty. In particular, upon special request, Vention engineers acquired Sitecore certifications and kicked off an extremely time-sensitive project — all within a few weeks. What’s more, we built a custom issue triage framework spanning their entire QA ecosystem, while sharing valuable insights into possible system limitations and third-party risks.
Most recently, the Vention team leveraged the best-in-class UI tool Storybook to document website use cases for one of the world's largest office supply companies, helping it streamline front-end development, testing, and documentation.
The result
Since the start of this ambitious collaboration, we’ve helped more than thirty of Merkle’s global clients — including Fortune 500 companies — unlock continuous marketing transformation and drive business performance.
And if delivering 150,000 marketing campaigns that bring in $1B+ annually wasn’t enough, Merkle is now scaling their CXM (customer engagement management) proposition to cement their role as a key player in the space — and Vention is happy to be along for the journey.
