Project description

At Vention, we look at any technology investment through a human lens and embrace every opportunity to empower our employees to operate at their best — personally and professionally. A prime example? Our recent company-wide Crypto Challenge, which invited engineers from our global hubs to mint a token for an employee rewards ecosystem with blockchain and distributed ledger technology at the core.

Following a round of interviews with managers and executives, the Uzbekistan team focused on two blockchain-based solutions: an NFT exchange platform and an online store for buying branded merch with Vention's proprietary cryptocurrency — ITC, short for ‘iTech Coin.’ The idea? Upon achieving any milestone like a work anniversary or completing a training, an employee receives a certain amount of ITC tokens, which can be redeemed for company merchandise or unique NFT stickers.

The platform’s rich functionality also enables users to purchase branded NFT assets, store them in a crypto wallet, and even send NFTs as gifts to colleagues.

And underpinning all of that? Gamification and hyper-personalized challenges that infuse day-to-day work with an element of fun, while boosting employees’ engagement, desire to learn and grow, and overall workplace satisfaction.

The result

Built by and for our team, the Vention Rewards platform proved to be a catalyst that sparked an explosion of employee interest in career advancement opportunities, which, in turn, fueled higher retention rates. Additionally, the project helped our engineers level up their blockchain skills, which enhanced the competitiveness of the company's services.
